At first it seems nothing but a tourist attraction. But no, this steam train is still in regular use in modern-day Cuba. It carries passengers across a valley near Trinidad, costs only a few cents to get on and the best thing: you can ride it with your feet dangling out and no one will say anything! I had some time while in Trinidad and one day decided to take a tour of the area. I traveled one way the whole day and then, in the evening, took the train all the way back. What a great way to get to know the country side!
